In a recent post, Cristiano Ronaldo expressed regret over his farewell in early 2023, and wished Man United success in the future.
“They need to rebuild everything and it will take time,” Cristiano Ronaldo said of his former club. “Man United are still one of the best clubs in the world, but they need to change. They understand that and are investing in the training ground. I am happy that things have changed and I believe the club has a bright future.”
CR7 left Man United in early 2023, after a shocking interview with journalist Piers Morgan about the limitations of the club. Speaking about this, he said: “I’m not happy with the way things are going, but we can’t control ourselves at some points in life. It’s not my problem to prove that right or wrong anymore.

“I want to emphasize that my love for Manchester United remains unchanged. I’m not one to forget the past easily. I’ve said what I needed to say, and for me, that’s behind us. I wish for the same success for the club that I wish for myself. When I returned to Manchester United, I was genuinely happy.”
Additionally, the Portuguese striker expressed his belief that coach Erik ten Hag could benefit from Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s insights: “I’m confident that Ruud can offer valuable support to the club, as he understands both the team and the fans. If the coach heeds his advice, I believe Manchester United can make significant improvements. The team needs individuals who truly grasp the game, and the players are those who experience the dynamics in the dressing room firsthand.”
