Karim Benzema recently took to Twitter to share a heartwarming photo of his son alongside Cristiano Ronaldo’s children.
The Real Madrid star posted a picture of his son and Ronaldo’s son, highlighting the enduring bond between the two football legends, which now extends to their families. In the image, Benzema’s son and Ronaldo’s child are dressed in matching shirts, mirroring the iconic kits worn by their famous fathers.
Benzema creatively contrasted the photos, showcasing the Benzema family in France shirts and Ronaldo’s family in Portugal shirts, emphasizing the deep connection and friendship that continues across generations.
The photo that Benzema published on his personal page received almost half a million likes.
Benzema captioned: “What else, @Cristiano.” The photo of these two forwards was taken at EURO 2020, which will take place in the summer of 2021. Benzema and Ronaldo joined Real Madrid in 2009 and helped the team become one of the dominant clubs in world football.
Both players won four UEFA Champions League titles together at Real Madrid, before Ronaldo left the club in 2018 and joined Juventus. Benzema continued to play for Real Madrid in La Liga and, after Ronaldo left, became the team’s most valuable player.
Ronaldo played a total of 438 games for Real Madrid and scored a total of 458 goals. Meanwhile, Benzema has made 587 appearances for the team in all competitions and has scored 303 goals so far.
