Karim Benzema took to his official Twitter page and shared a photo of his son with Cristiano Ronaldo’s children.
Real Madrid star Karim Benzema shared a photo of his son posing with the son of Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo on his Twitter page. The two are known for the teamwork and friendship they had together at Real Madrid, a bond that has been passed on to the next generation.
In the photo shared by Benzema you can see his son and Cristiano wearing the same shirt as his father, Benzema compared it by combining photos of two children and two parents. CR7’s father and son wear the Portugal shirt, the Benzema family wears the France shirt.
The photo that Benzema published on his personal page received almost half a million likes.
Benzema captioned: “What else, @Cristiano.” The photo of these two forwards was taken at EURO 2020, which will take place in the summer of 2021. Benzema and Ronaldo joined Real Madrid in 2009 and helped the team become one of the dominant clubs in world football.
Both players won four UEFA Champions League titles together at Real Madrid, before Ronaldo left the club in 2018 and joined Juventus. Benzema continued to play for Real Madrid in La Liga and, after Ronaldo left, became the team’s most valuable player.
Ronaldo played a total of 438 games for Real Madrid and scored a total of 458 goals. Meanwhile, Benzema has made 587 appearances for the team in all competitions and has scored 303 goals so far.
